She is a consultant, speaker, writer, and trainer for the health, food, and pharmaceutical industries in diabetes, nutrition, wellness, and insurance reimbursement. Mary Ann is nationally recognized for her expertise in multiple diabetes and nutrition subjects, including Medicare and private health insurance reimbursement for “all things diabetes and nutrition”, motivational interviewing, sustaining Diabetes Self-Management Education (DSME) and Medical Nutritional Therapy programs, and the evidence-based diabetes nutrition guidelines. She especially loves helping clients achieve Association of Diabetes Care & Education Specialists accreditation for their DSME programs with her turn-key materials.
